Our CopySwap platform helps small and medium-sized media outlets to find each other and share stories with new audiences via our email newsletters.
We're building an automated matching system that connects organizations with similar values and complementary audiences. Through strategic content sharing, participating organizations can reach new readers who could also become subscribers or supporters.
The program is open to individuals and organisations who manage email newsletters. Here's how it works and how to join if you're interested.
How it works
After making a profile on the CopySwap site, you can add copy that you would like others to share in their own newsletters with a link to your content.
You can also browse similar copy from other organisations and see if there is a match. There will be an automation option to suggest matches for you.
The platform will track swaps to help ensure everyone's copy gets shared and support subsequent swaps.

What kind of copy?
Whilst we started out sharing copy designed to promote openDemocracy in general, it's also natural to share copy about particular stories or projects.
So we welcome short pieces of copy that introduce another organisation's readers to your work or to your stories, along with a link to your site. For example:
