I want to stop receiving emails from openDemocracy
There is a link at the bottom of each email you receive from openDemocracy that will allow you to unsubscribe from either just that campaign, or from all openDemocracy emails. If you want to change your email address, please change it in your profile and we will use that address going forward. If you have any problems please contact us.

I've forgotten my password
Please click here to retrieve your password: Enter the email address you used when you first registered, and click submit. You should receive an email almost immediately with your password. You can change your password to something easier to remember in My Account after signing in.

The site won't let me sign-in/I am told my e-mail address or password is invalid
Please make sure you have entered your e-mail address and password precisely (if you have forgotten your password, see above). When you enter your sign-in details make sure there are no spaces either side of your e-mail address or password. Please also remember that the password is case sensitive. If you are still having problems please e-mail Theo Edwards. Please include any error messages you are getting, as well as details of which browser and version you are using to access the website.

The registration pages are not displayed correctly
Older internet browsers are not always compatible with the openDemocracy website. If you have a PC you need to have at least Internet Explorer 5.1 or Netscape Navigator 6, or Mozilla Firefox 0.8. For Macs the minimum requirements are Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape Navigator 6. If the pages are still skewed please e-mail Theo Edwards with details of what browser you use (including the version number), and whether you use a PC or a Mac.

Unfortunately at this time we can only accept payment in US Dollars, GB Pound sterling or Euros via the site. However, if you buy a subscription online using the pound sterling option you will find the amount automatically converted into your local currency on your credit card bill. If you prefer a bank transfer or to pay by cheque you can donate in any currency (see above) though there may be an extra charge. Please e-mail Theo Edwards for more details.

How do I cancel my regular donation?
To cancel your donation, please sign in to the site and go to My Account. You can cancel your regular donation there. In order to improve our product and service, we ask users who are cancelling to please tell us why. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe via WorldPay using the instructions that were emailed to you upon donating.
