Mary Kaldor is Professor of Global Governance at the London School of Economics and Political Science and author of ‘New and Old wars: Organised Violence in a Global Era’ 3rd edition, 2012, and In June 20, 2017, a new book by Christine Chinkin and Mary Kaldor – International Law and New Wars .

Paul Hilder is co-founder of Crowdpac, 38 Degrees and openDemocracy. He has played leadership roles at Change.org, Avaaz and Oxfam, and was a candidate for general secretary of the Labour party.

Yanis Varoufakis is the former finance minister of Greece, Professor of Economics at the University of Athens, Visiting Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson Graduate School of Public Affairs, University of Texas, Austin and co-founder of DiEM25. James Schneider is a socialist strategist. He served as Jeremy Corbyn and Labour's spokesperson and head of strategic communications from 2016-2020. Before that he co-founded Momentum and was an Africa-focused journalist. He is now the communications director for Progressive International.
