1,700 people detained at Russia’s anti-corruption protests

This Monday, Russian authorities detained protesters en masse in Moscow and St Petersburg. Now, they're handing down administrative sentences against people exercising their right to freedom of assembly. RU

This week at least 1720 people were detained in Russia at anti-corruption protests on 12 June. They are now all to go before the courts.
